1. About Us

Plan X Prep ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Plan X Prep Ltd (Company No. 16710082), registered in England & Wales.

2. The Service

Plan X Prep provides personalised meal planning, macro tracking, shopping list generation, and supermarket price comparison via a mobile application (iOS and Android) and web platform. The service generates personalised weekly meal plans matched to your calorie and macro targets.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Plan X Prep. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

All plans include a 7-day free trial.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.

Payment processing

In-app subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat via the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Managing your subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

5. Immediate Access Consent

By starting your free trial, you consent to immediate access to the service and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer partial-period refunds.

If you cancel during the free trial period, you will not be charged.

For in-app purchases, refund requests must be made directly to Apple or Google:

7. Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. If prices increase, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. You may cancel before the new price applies.

8. Health Disclaimer

Plan X Prep provides nutritional information and meal plans for general guidance only. Our service is not medical advice.

Always consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before:

Starting any new diet or nutrition plan
Making significant changes to your eating habits
Using the service if you have existing health conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication (including GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro)

If you experience any adverse health effects, stop using the service and seek medical attention immediately. In an emergency, call 999 or contact NHS 111.

9. Apple Health & Google Health Connect

Plan X Prep can read and write health data with your explicit permission. Health data is processed on your device by Apple's HealthKit (iOS) or Google's Health Connect (Android) frameworks. We do not control, store, or transmit health data to our servers.

You are responsible for managing your health data permissions via your device settings. Revoking permissions may limit certain features (such as automatic activity tracking) but will not affect your meal plan or subscription.

Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy govern their respective health data frameworks.

10. Generated Content

Meal plans and recipes are generated programmatically. While we verify nutritional data and recipe quality, generated content may contain inaccuracies. Nutritional values are estimates based on standard UK supermarket products — actual values may vary based on specific brands, portion sizes, and preparation methods.

Supermarket prices displayed in the app are sourced from publicly available data and are updated regularly. Prices may differ from in-store or online prices at the time of purchase.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Share your account credentials with others
Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit recipes or content without written permission

12. Intellectual Property

All content, recipes, technology, branding, and design within Plan X Prep are owned by Plan X Prep Ltd or its licensors. You may share individual recipes for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plan X Prep Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

Health outcomes resulting from following meal plans or nutritional guidance
Inaccuracies in nutritional data, supermarket prices, or generated content
Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@planxprep.com. Upon deletion:

Your personal data is removed within 30 days
Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately via your app store
Health data written to Apple Health or Health Connect remains on your device (managed by Apple/Google)
Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
