Which UK supermarkets does Plan X Prep support?

Plan X Prep uses 2,000+ real product prices from Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda, checked monthly. Each ingredient is priced at Aldi first, with Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda filling the gaps.

Can I use Plan X Prep for weight loss?

Yes. You set your goal (lose, maintain, or gain) and your pace. Plan X Prep calculates your calorie and macro targets using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula and builds meal plans around those numbers.

Is Plan X Prep suitable for vegetarians?

Yes. Vegetarian is one of the diet settings, alongside flexitarian, no pork and no red meat, and plans leave out the allergies and dislikes you tell us about. We don't offer vegan, pescatarian or gluten-free plans.

When does Plan X Prep launch?

1. About Us

Plan X Prep ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Plan X Prep Ltd (Company No. 16710082), registered in England & Wales.

2. The Service

Plan X Prep provides personalised meal planning, macro tracking, and shopping lists with estimated supermarket prices through our iPhone app. The service generates personalised weekly meal plans built around your calorie and macro targets, and includes Preppy, an AI kitchen assistant.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Plan X Prep. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions & Free Trial

Plans and pricing

Solo: £6.99/month or £49/year (save 40%)
Duos: £11.99/month or £79/year (save 40%)

New users get a 7-day free trial on either plan (one per account). To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.

Payment processing

Subscriptions are bought and billed through the Apple App Store, and we use RevenueCat to manage them. We never see or store your payment card details.

Managing your subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

In the app: Settings > Account > Manage subscription, which opens Apple's subscription page
On your iPhone: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Plan X Prep

5. Immediate Access Consent

By starting your free trial, you consent to immediate access to the service and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer partial-period refunds.

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your free trial ends, you will not be charged.

Refunds are handled by Apple. To ask for one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. If prices increase, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. You may cancel before the new price applies.

8. Health Disclaimer

Plan X Prep provides nutritional information and meal plans for general guidance only. Our service is not medical advice.

Always consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before:

Starting any new diet or nutrition plan
Making significant changes to your eating habits
Using the service if you have existing health conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication (including GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro)

If you experience any adverse health effects, stop using the service and seek medical attention immediately. In an emergency, call 999 or contact NHS 111.

9. Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Plan X Prep can write your logged weight and the calories and macros from your meals to it, and read your step count and workouts. Today's step count on your Home screen is read on your phone and isn't sent to us. If you switch on Steps or Workouts and tap Sync Now, the last 7 days of step counts and workouts are saved to your Plan X Prep account, as our Privacy Policy explains.

You are responsible for managing your health data permissions via your device settings. Revoking permissions may limit certain features (such as sending your weight and nutrition data, or showing your step count) but will not affect your meal plan or subscription.

Apple's Privacy Policy governs Apple Health itself.

10. Generated Content

Meal plans and recipes are generated programmatically. While we verify nutritional data and recipe quality, generated content may contain inaccuracies. Nutritional values are estimates based on standard UK supermarket products — actual values may vary based on specific brands, portion sizes, and preparation methods.

Meal plans are built by our own planning software, not by AI. Preppy, the in-app kitchen assistant, uses AI to write its answers, which can be wrong. Always check food labels for allergens.

Supermarket prices displayed in the app are estimates sourced from publicly available data and checked monthly. Prices may differ from in-store or online prices at the time of purchase.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Share your account credentials with others
Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit recipes or content without written permission

12. Intellectual Property

All content, recipes, technology, branding, and design within Plan X Prep are owned by Plan X Prep Ltd or its licensors. You may share individual recipes for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plan X Prep Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

Health outcomes resulting from following meal plans or nutritional guidance
Inaccuracies in nutritional data, supermarket prices, or generated content
Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account), or by emailing privacy@planxprep.com from the email address on your account. When your account is deleted:

Your account and the data stored with it are deleted straight away. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what's deleted and the few things that aren't
Your App Store subscription isn't cancelled. Cancel it yourself in Apple's subscription settings (see section 4)
Health data written to Apple Health stays on your phone, managed by Apple

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
